Thank you for your interest in submitting your research to the DPTME Journal, in collaboration with SmartPhysio. Please carefully follow the guidelines below to ensure your manuscript is properly formatted and reviewed.


1. Manuscript Format

  • File Type: Submit your manuscript as a Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx).
  • Language: All papers must be written in clear and concise English.
  • Font and Spacing: Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, and double spacing throughout the manuscript.
  • Margins: Set margins to 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
  • Length: Manuscripts should not exceed 7,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.

2. Manuscript Structure

  • Title Page:
    • Title of the paper (maximum 15 words)
    • Full names of all authors, including their academic titles and affiliations
    • Corresponding author’s name, email, and contact details
  • Abstract:
    • Provide an abstract of 250 words or less summarizing the research objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
    • Include 3 to 5 keywords below the abstract.
  • Introduction:
    • Clearly state the background, significance, and purpose of the research.
  • Methods:
    • Provide detailed information on the study design, data collection, and analysis methods.
  • Results:
    • Present the main findings with appropriate statistical analysis, including tables or figures where necessary.
  • Discussion:
    • Interpret the findings and compare them with relevant literature, noting the limitations of the study.
  • Conclusion:
    • Summarize the key points and suggest implications for future research or practice.
  • References:
    • Follow the APA referencing style (7th edition) for all citations and references. Make sure all sources are properly cited.

3. Figures and Tables

  • Placement: Include figures and tables within the text where they are first mentioned.
  • Numbering: Number all figures and tables consecutively (e.g., Figure 1, Table 1).
  • Captions: Provide concise, descriptive captions for each figure and table.

4. Ethical Considerations

  • Originality: Manuscripts must be original and not submitted or published elsewhere.
  • Plagiarism: Submissions will be checked for plagiarism. Any manuscript found to contain plagiarized material will be rejected.
  • Human Subjects Research: For studies involving human subjects, include an ethics statement confirming the study was approved by an appropriate ethics review board.

5. Submission Process

  • Email Submission: Send your manuscript along with your CV to editor@dptme.com. Use the subject line: “DPTME Journal Submission – [Your Name].”
  • Cover Letter: In the email body, provide a brief cover letter that includes:
    • A summary of the paper’s contribution to the field
    • A statement confirming the manuscript is original and not under consideration elsewhere

6. Review Process

  • Peer Review: All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process. Authors will be notified of the review outcome within 4-6 weeks.
  • Revisions: If revisions are required, you will receive detailed feedback. Please resubmit the revised manuscript within the requested time-frame.
